About this plan
A Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP) lets employees pay for eligible dependent care expenses — childcare, after-school programs, elder care — with pre-tax dollars under IRS Section 129. NBS administers DCAPs end-to-end, including the written plan document, non-discrimination testing, and claims reimbursement.
What's Included
For Employers
A DCAP reduces your payroll tax liability while giving employees meaningful help with one of their biggest household expenses. NBS handles the plan document, testing, and claims — you handle nothing.
For Participants
Set aside pre-tax dollars for childcare, after-school care, or elder care. You reduce your taxable income and get reimbursed quickly when you submit a claim through the NBS portal.
NBS administers more than Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP)
Many employers use NBS across multiple benefit types — consolidating administration simplifies vendor management and gives your employees a consistent experience. You may also be interested in these related plans.
